To all our new viewers. Hope you enjoy our blog but you will have to wait till Friday (or so) for stuff from Disney to start appearing! Until then, you will have to read about all our decisions we had to make along the way (see below if you really want to).
And an update to our Character Dining...yeah, when they say to make these reservations 6 months in advance, they aren't kidding. Anyways, it is still interesting to see what we are getting. I talked to Disney Dining 3 times yesterday and each time they had different options available (people call and cancel reservations or switch them so things pop up left and right-but it doesn't stay that way for long as others grab the reservations quick!) So, we have a handful of reservations for Character Dining and the Imagineers (disney employees) tell us to call back each day for cancellations to see what else we can get. So far we are having lunch with Mickey and friends, breakfast with Alice(& Wonderland), Mary Poppins and Winnie the Pooh.
Little factoid (to keep you reading). Did you know that the Magic Kingdom is built 14 feet above ground? Yes, all the magic and things they get ready is actually happening beneath you. Walt did this so you would never run into an undressed character or see what is going on. You can actually get a tour of this place but it costs some $$$$.

Well, I am one of the readers who went back and read all the previous blogs. I just wanted to feel like part of the family....and part of the trip. Ya'll HAVE FUN! Drink a beer for me, wear the mouse ears for me and wave to mickey for me!
