Day 5: Pictures, Pool & Halloween Party

Well today started off with getting some pictures of the whole families together. It's not very often that we get Walt and Jerod together so we snapped a few pictures for each family this morning. Afterwards, everyone headed to the pool to cool off. Jess, Cheryl and Avery headed to Downtown Disney to get some souvenirs. After that all the kiddos took naps.

This was also the day Aunt Karnin left. Right before she left she got Trinity all dazzled up to be Cinderella for the Halloween Party. We all went to the Halloween party except for the Zinks and Samuel. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party was a lot of fun. The crowds were minimal so it was great to be able to get on rides and not have to wait in line. The kids got to go trick or treating together and meet characters as well. Speaking of which, Isaac was Buzz Lightyear, Samuel was Nemo (kinda, until he went home), Trinity was Cinderella, Bryton was a Pirate, Avery was a cheerleader, Trenton was Darth Vader (except he wasn't feeling so well so he didn't wear his costume much). This party was from 7 to midnight so it was a late night for the kiddos but they all did very well considering the time. They also had free face painting which Jess, Avery and I all took part in! They could paint faces in like 2 minutes-wish I could do my makeup that fast!

Day 4: Animal Kingdom

Well today was a very hot day here. Whew. Anyways, the Lovings, Zinks started their morning with a character dining at 1900 Park Fare. They got to meet Mad Hatter (I don't know this one, is it that?) Alice and Wonderland, Tigger and Pooh. This breakfast is at the Grand Floridian and apparently absolutely wonderful! All of us are headed their Wednesday morning for a breakfast as well.

So, while they were at their character breakfast we decided to hit the Animal Kingdom. Unfortunately us younger Rifes left early...anyways, we did get in the new roller coaster ride Expedition Everest. Lots of fun! We were also able to hit Dinoland, the Bugs Life 3-D show and go to the Nemo show. The Nemo show was awesome! Avery was very scared of the Bugs Life show. Poor thing was shaking and Jess couldn't get her out of their fast enough.


The Engles and older Rifes were able to do the safari and got to see lots of the animals. The Lovings, Zinks and Aunt Karnin also came to the Animal Kingdom for the 2nd time this trip.

We all made it to dinner together last night at Downtown Disney. All 17 of us! Lots of fun as we ate at Fulton's Crab House. After the kids had fun playing at the Lego World and some of the adults got to go to the World of Disney store and get souvenirs.
